Blogsalvage.com was born after I took a trip to our local junk yard after
working on a blog that has really been taking off lately. I was
thinking about how many blogs hadn't made it. I have sold many blogs
while they were still in being born or after I lost interest in them.
I walked around the junk yard looking for a mirror for my pickup truck.
I watched as the workers worked on some old cars to bring them back to
life. They sold used cars that they fixed up after the original owners
scrapped them. That's when it hit me. Why not create a site that
will give helpful hits, tips and help to bloggers? Offer a place
where old blogs can be sold and new ones created but mainly where old
blogs can be rehabilitated and where we can watch them grow.
The idea here is to get a bunch of bloggers and novices together to
workshop and rehab some of the old blogs that are sitting around out
there. Let's get under the hood, kick the tires and get these old
gems running again. Take those old blogs that have potential and
send them to rehab. Learn to make money blogging while you bring
your blog back to life.
To accomplish this we will have a blog (of course), a forum where we
can discuss new blogs and issues, classified ads and a Hall of Fame for
blogs that have made it back out on the road to profitable blogging...or
at least blog that are getting read and posted to.
